What we collect. When you register, apply for a scholarship or group rate, or join the email list, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, organisation, country, referral code and anything you write in an application. If you sign up for a webinar, we also keep the details you give there, such as your name, email address, how you heard about it and any question you share.
How we use it. We use it to confirm your registration, send session links and readings, review scholarship and group applications, and, if you joined the list, tell you about The DR Discusses webinars and new modules. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure page. We never see or store your card details.
Where it is kept. Registration and email list details are kept in a Google account and Google Sheets used by The DR, and are visible only to the convenor and team members who need them to run the programme. We keep registration records for as long as we need them to run and look after the programme. Email list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices. You can unsubscribe at any time.
The DR Community. If you apply to join our WhatsApp community, we keep your name, email address, country, institution or organisation, current role, familiarity with decolonial and postcolonial studies, field of study, your interest in the incubator, and how you heard about us, so that we can review your application and send you the WhatsApp link. Once you join, other members of the WhatsApp group can see the phone number you use on WhatsApp.
Visits to this site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites and does not collect personal information such as your name or email address.
Recordings. Live sessions are recorded and shared with the group.
